Colours of flame!

Wearing shades of flame! Shades of Blue, Orange, Rufous!

I was in awe of Tickell's blue flycatcher at first sight. In awe of it bright blue and orange colour. As I started exploring more I came across these colours very often. From North Bengal to Thattekad and in and around Pune these birds carry the colours of the flames so elegantly. The blue, orange, rufous palette is rich, the added iridescence and sometime a highlighted white brow adds to their beauty. I am sure, there are many more wonders like these yet to explore, showcasing here few I came across so far.

Blue-fronted redstart
